CAS Activities in the Primary for the session 2009
1. Special felicitation programme for support staff :.Primary student exhibited the attribute of being CARING when they shared the joys of the festive season by distributing sweets to the support staff working in the Primary.
2. Collection Drive: We conducted a collection drive (food, stationery and some other essential items) across the primary on a monthly basis. Every student was given a requirement list right at the beginning of the session for the whole year.
3.CAS reps from all grades handled the collection and delivery of the items to the
orphanage..
4.Mufti day: It was a brilliant idea proposed by Ms Jaisree and totally lapped up by the whole primary as a fun way of fund raising for the orphanage. We had a theme for every Mufti day;’ I love my country and I love yours too’,’ Spring time’,’ Save the earth ‘.Each child and teacher had to contribute Rs. 10/ to participate in this fun programme.
5.CAS meeting every Monday: CAS meetings happened regularly where the CAS reps of each section met to discuss issues.

6.Grade 4 twin programme. Grade programme conducted a special English and computer literacy programme with the Tuvakannahalli primary school where a group of senior grade students were brought to our school for computer familiarization and training by a team of grade four students and teachers while another group accompanied by teachers went to the village school to conduct training in the usage of English language.
7.Grade 5 :Integrating CAS with unit of inquiry on business.Grade 5 organised a BUSINESS fete along with kalahalli orphanage.
